I need lots of light to work with dark colors...indoor light is one yellowish bulb, and outdoor light is raining so everyone else will complain about the cold if I open the curtains to let anything in...so I can complete a couple of the light colors, and hopefully they won't take more than the hour I'm charging for them or I won't really be able to sell them (not counting time to figure out how best to go about making them of course).
Just a little update, I'm making new colors of animals, and going to figure out flowers to either match with hummingbirds or go alone. Gold butterflies, green and gold hummingbirds, black and light brown for puppies and bunnies, and if I meet the minimum inventory goals, I'll start on multicolors of butterflies and hummingbirds...and then, possibly, I'll be able to figure out a new animal, too.
Small animals made of acrylic yarn and stuffed with some sort of fluffy ball; first available will be bunnies and butterflies; soon to come will be dogs, cats, birds. For now, they will be of solid color; but later, butterflies will come in multiple colors, and so will peacocks.
Suggestions are welcome! After all, I consider the process of creating new animals to be puzzles, and new challenges are lots of fun! |
Author and ArtistI finally realize the importance of the dated progress page...it shows just how much I'm actually working! Archives
